If your institution does not provide the minimum number of candidates, ONCC will charge the difference in the number of candidates provided by the institution. If an institution only offers six candidates during the agreement period, the institution will pay for four exams at the end of the agreement period.
ONCC maintains the perspective that diverse combinations of test candidates can be effectively employed to fulfill the essential prerequisites for potential candidates. The underlying belief is rooted in the idea that a variety of test subjects can collectively contribute to meeting the specified minimum requirements.
Candidates in ONCC may take the exam once per 90-day eligibility period. Each test attempt requires a new application. Candidates may use the same continuing education as for the initial examination, as long as the continuing education is obtained within 3 years (36 months) of the re-examination application.
If candidates fail to attend their scheduled exam appointment, they will be subject to a no-show penalty and will be counted as one of two exams. If a candidate fails to take the second exam, according to ONCC's agreement, the candidate will no longer be able to take the exam.
