What is the cancellation policy of Iparkit?
For prepaid reservations, they allow you to cancel at Iparkit before the reservation starts. Their website and app allow you to do this yourself - all you need is an account. You can cancel your reservation via the receipt in the app or on their website. It may take up to 10 business days for the credit limit to be applied back to your credit card. If you need to cancel after the booking time or need a refund for any other reason, please contact them using the "Ask a Question" button in the upper right corner.
What is the difference between buying an online reservation on Iparkit and using Express?
Iparkit lets you pay for parking in two different ways. You can tap or click anywhere on the map screen and prepay the time for specific start and stop times associated with the booking. By booking, you get in and out privileges and a guaranteed spot. Express is their pay-as-you-go platform, and you can quickly get in and out of your garage simply by scanning their Express Pass barcode. You will be charged and emailed a receipt upon exit.
How do I use Iparkit to get in and out of the garage?
Most garages in Iparkit have a black and grey scanner before you reach the ticket machine. The scanner has a flashing red light on which you can scan. Please keep your barcode 2 - 4 inches away from red lights; don't swipe your barcode too quickly. It is important to scan in and out to lift the gate. Please don't canvass. If you are having trouble scanning, please press the help/help button on the ticket machine and speak to a member of their remote customer service team.
What happens if I stay after the booking end time at Iparkit?
There is a 15 minute grace period after the booking is over and you can exit at Iparkit without any additional charge. However, if you leave more than 15 minutes after your reservation closes, you will be charged an overage fee that varies by garage. If you're not sure when you can leave the garage, they recommend giving yourself at least an hour of buffer time.
