The technology in Bloodline Golf's putter allows players to clearly see where the putter is aligned because they can walk behind the putter while it is standing alone. Until now, golfers have had no choice but to align their putt from above, with head position, eye dominance and peripheral vision all challenging alignment.
Using Bloodline Golf's putter should allow the player to spend the same amount of time on the green, if not less total time. The main reason it takes less time to use a putter is that the putter starts on a better line, players are able to quickly and easily self-diagnose if they are aiming correctly, and most players modify their pre-putt routine to incorporate the line The elements come from behind in a way that has little, if any, impact on the time it takes a team to putt.
Standard club specifications are: Loft (2.5°), Lie (69° typical), Gross Weight (385 grams. +/- 5 grams depending on how it's set up (neck, weighted plug, etc.), the grips have an outside diameter of about 1” (they are still working on offering a variety of options for grips). Bloodline Golf's putters are built using a machined aluminum face, shaft and hosel bonded to a stainless steel soleplate. They need feel at impact, roll off the clubface, and mass attributes to work for the best players in the world, whether the putter is standing on its own or not. They developed a unique sole design that helps the putter stand on its own, without disturbing the ground during the swing.
